ResNexus is an all-in-one property management and booking platform aimed primarily at independent hotels, inns, B&Bs and other lodging businesses. Its core system combines a PMS, direct booking engine, OTA channel management, guest communication tools, payments and reporting in one platform.
For smaller properties, its main appeal is the breadth of functionality available within a single system. ResNexus also offers website services, direct connections to major OTAs and Google Travel, and tools for email, texting and repeat-guest marketing.
Although ResNexus is strongest in the North American independent-lodging market, its PMS, booking engine and major OTA connections could also suit smaller properties in the UK, Europe and elsewhere that do not need extensive regional distribution. Support, tax and payment workflows, local integrations and localisation should be checked carefully before choosing it for an international property.

Ease of Use & Setup
ResNexus provides guided onboarding, including one-to-one training and a dedicated account manager. Its support materials also include a substantial knowledge base, training videos, webinars and in-app help.
The main back-office interface centres on the reservation grid, which gives staff a visual view of availability and lets them create reservations, room blocks, quotes and maintenance downtime directly from the grid.

ResNexus also offers a mobile app for iOS and Android, including mobile check-in and check-out functions.
For smaller inns and B&Bs, that visual approach can make day-to-day reservation management relatively straightforward, although the system is broader than a very lightweight booking tool and may take some familiarisation.
Property Management System (PMS)
The ResNexus PMS centres on a visual reservation calendar and grid that gives staff an at-a-glance view of availability, arrivals, departures, payments and room status. Reservations can be created directly from the calendar, moved with drag-and-drop, and updated with rate or housekeeping changes from the same screen.
Housekeeping is built into the operational workflow. Staff can track rooms that need cleaning or turnover, record housekeeping notes, and share room-status information across the team. Settings allow rooms to be automatically marked as in need of cleaning after departure.
Guest management keeps reservation history and customer details together, while the wider PMS also supports front-desk tasks, direct billing and reporting.
For inns and B&Bs, the appeal is the amount of day-to-day operational information available from one central system without needing separate tools for reservations, housekeeping and basic guest management.
Booking Engine
ResNexus includes a mobile-optimized booking engine that integrates directly into a property’s website and social media pages. Guests can browse rooms, view images, and confirm reservations in an easily navigated sequence in just a few taps.

The booking process is simple and streamlined, with support for add-ons like breakfast, early check-in, or special packages. These upsells can be offered automatically during the booking process, helping increase average booking value.
Unlike SiteMinder, which focuses heavily on OTA distribution, ResNexus prioritizes direct bookings. Owners can customize rate plans, add promotional codes, and display local packages to encourage guests to book directly rather than through third parties.
By emphasizing direct bookings, ResNexus enables small properties to grow through depth rather than expansion — cultivating higher-value guest relationships, loyalty programs, and local partnerships that strengthen profitability without increasing operational complexity.
While the interface may not be as sleek as Cloudbeds’, it’s designed with clarity and conversion in mind. The layout adapts well to tablets and smartphones, ensuring a consistent guest experience across devices.
Guest Communication & CRM
ResNexus includes built-in guest communication tools covering the main stages of the stay, including automated confirmation emails, welcome messages and post-stay thank-you emails. Templates can be customized, and the platform also supports permission-based email and text marketing to past guests.
Automation extends beyond standard stay emails. ResNexus can send cart-abandonment reminders when a guest starts but does not complete a booking, and those reminders can be scheduled and customized.
Repeat-guest functionality is another useful part of the system. ResNexus supports guest recognition, special rate types, birthday and anniversary messages, and other tools aimed at encouraging repeat business and loyalty.
For inns and B&Bs that want guest communication, automation and repeat-booking tools within the same system as reservations, this is one of ResNexus’s stronger areas.
Channel Manager
ResNexus includes a built-in channel manager that syncs inventory and rates across major OTAs like Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, and TripAdvisor. It also supports connections with Vrbo and Google Hotel Ads/Google Travel.
It uses real-time updates to keep rates and availability synchronized and reduce the risk of double-bookings. While its distribution network is more limited than that of a specialist global channel manager, the major international booking channels are covered.

ResNexus supports promotions, special rate types and automatic yield management, with rates that can adjust according to factors such as occupancy and how far in advance a booking is made. For a practical breakdown of dynamic pricing and rule-based rate automation, see our guide to dynamic pricing for small hotels.
Bulk updates allow rate and availability changes to be applied across connected channels from ResNexus. However, properties needing a particularly broad range of regional or specialist distribution connections should compare its channel coverage carefully with a distribution-focused platform such as SiteMinder.
Payments & Invoicing
ResNexus offers integrated payment processing through its PCI-compliant gateway, allowing guests to pay securely online during booking or at check-in.
The system supports major credit cards and EMV/contactless card readers, with transactions recorded against reservations. Properties can also use payment gateways such as Authorize.net and PayPal, depending on their setup.
Payment activity is integrated with the reservation record, which helps keep front-desk and financial information in one place.
Reporting & Insights
ResNexus provides a practical range of reports covering occupancy, revenue, booking pace, guest demographics and marketing performance.

The platform includes more than 65 reports across areas such as occupancy, revenue, taxes, payments, reservations, marketing, retail and operations. It also provides reporting on marketing-channel performance, helping properties see where bookings are coming from and which channels or promotions are contributing results.
For small inns and B&Bs, this gives owners a fairly broad reporting toolkit without requiring a separate business-intelligence platform.
Customer Support & Training
Customer service is one of ResNexus’s stronger areas. The company is U.S.-based and provides phone and email support alongside a large support library with articles, videos and in-app help.
Standard support hours are listed as Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm Mountain Time, and Saturday, 7am–3pm Mountain Time, with an after-hours emergency line available for urgent issues.
New customers receive a series of one-to-one onboarding and training sessions, with a dedicated account manager continuing as their point of contact afterwards. ResNexus also provides webinars, recorded training material and guided support resources for ongoing learning.
Integrations
ResNexus integrates with a range of hospitality and business tools, including:
- OTA and distribution channels such as Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, Vrbo and Google Hotels
- Payment services including PayPal and supported card-processing gateways
- Accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Revenue-management and analytics tools including Diamo, Pricepoint, Autumn and ProfitSword
- Restaurant POS through Lightspeed
- Access-control systems such as RemoteLock and ASSA ABLOY
- Marketing and analytics tools including Google Ads and Google Analytics
- Tourism and destination-distribution partners such as Simpleview and JackRabbit
ResNexus does not offer the same breadth of third-party marketplace integrations as some larger global platforms, but its current partner ecosystem covers a useful mix of payments, accounting, revenue management, access control, restaurant operations and distribution.
Strengths
- Purpose-built for inns, lodges and B&Bs
- Strong guest communication and repeat-guest tools
- U.S.-based support with structured onboarding and training
- Clear reservation grid and centralised day-to-day operations
- Built-in OTA connectivity, direct-booking tools and yield management
Weaknesses
- More limited global distribution breadth than a specialist platform such as SiteMinder
- Interface may feel less modern than some newer hotel SaaS platforms
- Advanced market-driven revenue management may still require third-party integrations
- International properties should verify support hours, tax/payment workflows, local integrations and localisation before committing
Alternatives to ResNexus
- Little Hotelier – A stronger option for small hotels, inns and B&Bs that need broader international distribution and support across multiple markets.
- Cloudbeds – Better suited to hotels that expect to grow or add operational complexity, with broader support for multi-property management, F&B/POS, groups and events, advanced revenue tools and a larger integration ecosystem.
- SiteMinder – Best for hotels focused on centralised global distribution and multi-property management.

Pricing
ResNexus uses custom pricing based on the number of units and seasonality, rather than publishing standard monthly rates for each property size. Its subscriptions start with an Essentials edition and can add broader marketing, housekeeping, POS, group-reservation and guest-engagement features at higher tiers.
The company currently states that there are no setup fees, no long-term contract, and no per-reservation fees for direct bookings made through its booking engine. It also advertises a price-match guarantee against comparable property-management software.
A demo is available, but because pricing is customised, properties need to contact ResNexus for a quote based on their own size and operating season.
Verdict
ResNexus is a strong fit for independent inns, B&Bs and small lodging properties in North America that want reservations, direct bookings, OTA connectivity, guest communication and day-to-day operations managed within one system.
Its particular strengths are structured onboarding and support, guest communication and repeat-guest tools, a clear reservation grid, and an integrated approach to direct bookings and distribution. It also offers more operational depth than a very lightweight small-property system without requiring owners to assemble a large collection of separate tools.
The main limitation is geographic fit. ResNexus connects with the major international OTAs, but properties outside North America should check distribution requirements, support hours, local integrations, tax and payment workflows, and localisation carefully before committing. Hotels that need particularly broad global distribution or more complex expansion options may find SiteMinder or Cloudbeds a better fit.
For a North American inn or B&B that values guest relationships, direct bookings and accessible support, ResNexus remains one of the more compelling all-in-one options to consider in 2026.
